Thanks for another day of great input, I find it quite moving that so many are willing to work together on this.
Email volume -
I *strongly* suggest that you switch your email delivery to Special Notices Only (go to Edit Membership) unless you want another 300 messages (or 10 daily digests) in your Inbox today!
Stage one of the 3 stage plan was yesterday, if you didn't get around to it, or hadn't joined then, details are below and you can still do it at anytime
Stage 2 is on Thursday so Wednesday is a day off!!
ADMIN
Sarah has agreed to put all relevant articles in the Files section and has created a Database for contact with famous people who may help us and Beth will post links to newspaper articles (God I hope I've got that the right way round!)
A forum has been created for those who prefer that format, I've forgotten (it IS late) who's done it but can you add it to the Links page please, same for the WIKI page.
Protest march in London -
much discussion about this one, no doubt more to follow, I think the general concences was that although 4th July is an appropriate date being Independance day its just too soon to organise it.
Counter Review -
being done by someones husband...John?, correct me if I got that wrong too!
Press release -
Done (I think!) could you (Debi?) add it to the Links section
Note to self - add another Database of who's doing what!
Contacting MP's -
49 entries now (2 MPs have had two emails, thas good!) more bombarding needed!
National Home Ed Day/week -
again much discussion, more to come!
STAGE ONE - email Ed Balls here -
dcsf.ministers@dcsf.gsi.gov.uk,
please feel free to cross-post this to your local group if you wish.
----------------------------------------------------------
and for those who haven't already, please email or snail mail your local MP,
letters are available in the Files section if you want them in whole or as a
basis, and when you have sent it *please* add the record to the Database section,
as yet no one MP has been contacted more than once!!
