Third, Baroness Morgan misleadingly replied to a question in the Lords by saying the proposals would give local authorities the power to intervene when home education isn't up to scratch. In actual fact, implementing the proposals would give local authorities massive new powers to carry out blanket inspections and to insist on entering people's homes and interviewing children in the absence of their parents - without any reason for thinking anything is amiss.
If they don't reject the entire review very soon, Badmangate is going to snowball. Let's make sure that if they don't, it does...
