thank you for signing up to this pledge. The problems we face
are known to you all and it is reassuring to me and my family
that there are people out there, like us, who are willing to
pay something towards battling it.

When we get to a stage where we need a fund, I don't suggest
any amount, just a penny if needed. The point is to tell the
government that we WILL put our money where our mouth is, we
WILL fight them with the the legal weapons they created and we
WILL show them to be the disgusting, power grabbing, all
controlling government that they are.

You can help by putting the pledge and a link to it anywhere
and everywhere, so that everyone knows about it.

Email signatures, facebook, post a message in any email groups
you are members of, or even the old fashioned way, bring it up
in conversation with friends.

The pledgebook gang suggested that 1000 people is a high number
for any pledge. Is it? Considering that there are a guaranteed
20,000 of us, is 5% really too many to hope for.

I don't think so, because if 5% of us can commit to the idea of
1 penny to fight this issue, then we've lost already and the
government will be aware of that.

Some points to remember when spreading the word:

1. NO ONE HAS TO COMMIT THEIR NAME TO THE PLEDGE. IT CAN BE
ANONYMOUS. NAMES JUST HELP THE GROUPS SPIRIT.

2. THERE IS NO UPPER OR LOWER AMOUNT FOR CONTRIBUTION TO A
FUND.

3. THIS IS NOT A CONTRACT. ITS A PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE AN
HONOURABLE AGREEMENT TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER AND GATHER STRENGTH
TO MAKE A STAND WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT.

4. THIS IS ABOUT THE HOME ED CONSULATION AND PROPOSALS, BUT
MORE IMPORTANTLY, ITS ABOUT FIGHTING THE GOVERNMENTS FIRST
MAJOR STRIKE AT OUT PRIVACY. ANYONE WITH CHILDREN, NOT JUST
HOME-EDDERS COME UNDER THE 'AT RISK OF RISK' BANNER THAT THE
GOVERNMENT IS CURRENTLY WAVING.
